With today’s society the image of the modern woman has changed a lot. Gone are the days when women would be seen pulling their skirts down because they were too short or uncomfortable. The woman of today believes little coverage ,cleavage all out is the in thing and what is attractive. The question is ,is it worth it? I always believe you can always look glamorous and decent at the same time without all cleavage out. This doesn’t mean you need to be like a granny but lets put on something that is not too short for office, everything out there that brings you unnecessary attention.

I did my research and 80% of men love to see the cleavage but they would not want to introduce that kind of woman to their family or friends when it comes to a serious relationship. Each day we hear of rape cases that we have to agree have  grown tremendously  in the recent years. Fathers raping their daughters, and in most cases its due to our dressing. Men are created with the visual mind, they react by what they see. So when you walk in the streets late at night, dressed to be mistaken for a hooker ,raped or men calling you names and talking badly at you. Don’t blame anyone you have brought this to yourself.

We keep complaining where are the good men? A good man does not go after a trashy woman. You have to look presentable, decent and respectable to attract that good man. You will always  attract the wrong kind of men that will take take you with less seriousness because you don’t look like one who deserves it.

It is always in the heart, dressing skimpily does not bring you any good but attracts more negative energy towards you. If you want to be respected and held high change your look. If you want to be taken seriously it begins with your appearance. Don’t let great opportunities pass you,be judged because of your dressing yet you have a great heart with so much to offer. Respect is earned and it always has to begin with you. Take yourself seriously if you want to be regarded in the same way,it should always begin with you.

Simplicity is beauty. One does not need to overdress just for the sake of impressing people rather than being presentable. You don’t have to be daring to be a head-turner. And a real woman seeks respect and not public attention. I respect you and your post 🙂

I really liked the post and admired your analysis, especially when you wrote “they would not want to introduce that kind of woman to their family or friends”. The two reasons I see for such dressing and flirt cases are the frustration and competition. This competition starts due to competition because people want to become like their friends although we read, listen and watch at several places, “be like yourself”.

I feel what you’re saying, and it’s true to a certain extent, but I feel like this applies to men as well as women. No matter what she is wearing though, rape is never excusable. If a dude can walk down the street with no shirt on with no fear of being raped or molested then the same right should apply to a woman. I think the real crime is the impossible standards a male ruled society enforces on women in order to be viewed as respectable individuals.
